Range 23 Brewing Craft Beer
Our beer is crafted using traditional methods and local ingredients whenever available. We brew six styles of beer year-round: Locals Only Pale Ale, Karen’s IPA, Windburn Blonde Ale, American Prairie Porter, K-Dock Kölsch and Due West Dunkelweiss.
We also have seasonal and experimental brews available throughout the year.

K-Dock Kölsch (ale/lager hybrid). Pale, clean and crisp -. perfect for lake drinking on a hot summer day. Kölsch is a German style from Köln, Germany, that uses an ale yeast, but is cold fermented like a lager. Subtle hop character with subdued sweetness that is delicately balanced with a refreshing finish. In the Midwest, everyone has a lake they retreat to on hot summer weekends. We named this for the marina where we spend a lot of them.
American Prairie Porter, 5.5% ABV. A true year-round American porter; complex, dark, and malty. We brew ours on the lighter side, making it incredibly smooth and drinkable with a nice roasty finish.
Karen's IPA. Perfectly balanced. 7.6% ABV. Named for co-owner Karen, who has a very particular palette for west-coast style IPA's. Brewed with a strong malt backbone to balance out a complex hop profile of Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo, Mosaic and Citra hops.
Windburn Blonde Ale
Locals Only Pale Ale
Due West Dunkelwiess
Windburn Blonde Ale is an easy-drinking and approachable classic craft brew, balanced and clean. Bittered with Zeus hops grown locally in Tonganoxie, Kansas at Porter Valley Hops. We dry hop this one with Calypso hops just to be a little different. They add soft floral notes and a nice pear-like fruitiness. Windburn Blonde makes a great base beer style for some of our experimental brews and is used in our Grapefruit Radler.
Locals Only Pale Ale. Refreshing and hoppy ale, made exclusively with locally-grown Kansas hops. It’s nicely balanced with a smooth malt profile making it an easy-drinking and well-rounded pale ale.

Due West Dunkelweiss. This is a dark German wheat beer, Mahogany brown in color and medium-bodied. There is a distinctive sweet and rich character which comes from the classic German wheat yeast strain. It's creamy, fluffy texture and light finish makes this quite quaffable.
